BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference has named Montevallo baseball's
Connor Crowson Player of the Week as announced by league office on Tuesday, Apr. 15.

Connor Crowson picks up his second GSC weekly award of the season after a week where he drove in 12 RBI and hit his 13
th and 14
th homers of the season. Crowson had a hit in each game last week including a multi-hit effort against Christian Brothers in game two of the series. In the GSC weekend series against CBU, he hit a solo homer against the Buccaneers and had an RBI ground out.
In game two, Crowson had a five RBI game including an RBI ground and two multi-RBI singles. He rounded out his week with back-to-back five RBI games as he drove in five more runs in game three. Crowson hit the Falcons' first grand slam of 2025 in the fifth inning. He drove in his final RBI of the week with an RBI groundout.
Crowson currently is tied for the fifth highest batting average in the conference at .379, is tied for the most hits in the league with 66 and has the third most homers at 14. Additionally, he is second in the GSC with 52 runs batted in, has the most total bases with 119 and has the third highest slugging percentage at .684.
Crowson and the rest of the Falcons are back in action on Friday, Apr. 18 as they take on Union in the first game of their three-game GSC series.
