MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo track and field teams are set to compete at the Gulf South Conference Championships in Cleveland, Tenn. this week. The three-day event will take place Thursday, May 1 to Saturday, May 3.

So Far This Season…
Montevallo opened the outdoor season strong, as 12 Falcons picked up 13 first place finishes at the UWA Invitational. Montevallo followed that up with strong performances at the Falcon Classic and Multi, garnering 20 top-three finishes, which included seven first place finishes. The Falcons went on to have a strong showing in Starkville, Miss., capturing multiple top-ten finishes at the Mississippi State Alumni Bulldog Relays. Montevallo returned to the state of Alabama, as six Falcons garnered top-three finishes at the Troy Doc Invitational.
Last time out, the Falcons closed the regular season with a strong showing at the Berry Field Day Multi and Invite in Mountain Berry, Ga. The men earned a team-first place finish, while the women placed third overall.
