VALDOSTA, Ga. – The 2025 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Softball All-South Region teams were announced on Monday, with Becca Benton earning second team honors.

Benton continues to garner postseason recognition, after being named on the Gulf South Conference All-Conference Second Team list last month.

The Hayden, Ala. native had a solid first season at Montevallo, posting a .294 batting average, .531 slugging percentage, and .369 on-base percentage. Benton recorded a team leading-35 RBIs on the seasons which ranks 11^th overall in the GSC. Benton has recorded 42 hits, seven home runs, 19 runs scored, 12 walks, and a team leading-five hit-by-pitches.

The junior has recorded 13 multiple-RBI games during the 2025 season which ties for the fifth most in a single season in program history.

Defensively, Benton is responsible for 56 assists, 29 putouts, and two double plays.

Benton is the sixth Falcon in program history to earn D2CAA All-Region honors.
