MONTEVALLO, Ala. – With the season less than a month away, Montevallo Cross Country Head Coach Tommy Barksdale has announced the 2025 schedule.
 
The Falcons open the season on Friday, Sept. 5, at the UNA Invitational in Florence, Ala. The Men's 8k will open the day at 7:45 a.m., followed by the Women's 5k at 8:30 a.m. Montevallo last competed in this event in 2022, where both the men and women earned second-place finishes.
 
The next week, Montevallo hosts the annual Falcon Classic on Friday, Sept. 12. The Women's 5k will take place at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Men's 8k at 8:15 p.m. Last season, the women placed second and the men placed fourth at the home meet.
 
The Falcons take a two-week break before returning to action on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Georgia College Bobcat Invitational in Milledgeville, Ga. Action starts at 5:45 p.m. with the Women's 5k, followed by the Men's 8k at 6:30 p.m. The Falcons last competed in this event in 2018, as the women finished third and the men finished fourth.
 
Montevallo closes the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the UAH Chargers XC Invitational in Huntsville, Ala. The Men's 8k opens the day at 8:00 a.m., followed by the Women's 6k at 8:50 a.m. The Falcons last competed in this event in 2023, as the men and women placed 20^th and 21^st, respectively.
 
The Gulf South Conference Championships will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25 in Memphis, Tenn., while the NCAA DII South Regional Championships are set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Lakeland, Fla.
