MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo Women's Soccer's Morgan Goehring has been named Montevallo Player of the Week Presented by Jack's for the week of September 22^nd.

Morgan Goehring, a junior from Yorba Linda, Calif., had a great week for Montevallo. In the Falcons' 4-0 victory at Valdosta State on Saturday, Goehring was involved in all four goals, recording two goals and two assists. She set up Lainey Farabaugh for the opening goal in the seventh minute and then scored twice herself, in the 14th and 25th minutes, to give Montevallo a strong 3-0 lead. She also assisted on Ayla Ertekin's goal in the 30th minute, completing a dominant first-half performance. 

Earlier in the week, Goehring also helped the Falcons secure a 1-0 win over Auburn Montgomery on Wednesday. After a scoreless first half, Goehring scored the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute, with assists from Batie Casey and Elise Marquardt.

With three goals and two assists this week, Goehring continues to be a key offensive force for Montevallo.
