MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Due to inclement weather forecasted over the weekend, Montevallo women's lacrosse has moved its season opener to Friday, Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. CT.

The Falcons were originally scheduled to travel to Newberry, S.C. on Saturday, Jan. 31 to take on Newberry at 2 p.m. CT. Montevallo has moved the game up to Friday afternoon after a severe winter weather forecast for the Carolinas on Saturday, Jan. 31. Montevallo will now open the season on Friday, Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. on the road at Newberry College.
