BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference has named Montevallo's Bridget Quayle as the league's Defensive Player of the Week after a 1-1 week for the Falcons.

Quayle posted a total of four points during the week with three goals and one assist while adding seven caused turnovers, five ground balls, and two draw controls.  In a 20-4 win over GSC Newcomer Virginia State, the sophomore midfielder tallied three points on two goals and one assist while setting a season-high with four caused turnovers to go along with two ground balls and two draw controls. In a loss to No. 8 Lynn, Quayle added a goal while posting three caused turnovers and three ground balls.
 
Quayle and the rest of the Falcons head to Huntsville, Ala. to take on Alabama Huntsville on Saturday, March 28 at 4 p.m.
