Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla. – Montevallo women's lacrosse fell on the road to No. 8 Lynn, 17-1, Saturday afternoon.
Lynn opened the contest scoring five unanswered goals to take a 5-0 lead after the opening quarter. The Knights extended the run early in the second to go up 6-0 before the Falcons answered.
Bridget Quayle put Montevallo on the board at the 10:42 mark of the second quarter, converting on a free position opportunity to cut the deficit to 6-1. Lynn responded with three straight goals and added another late in the quarter to take a 9-1 lead going into half.
Out of halftime, Lynn continued to control the pace scoring five goals in the third quarter before adding three more in the fourth to secure the 17-1 victory.
