NFCA/GoRout Division II Coaches Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its latest NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll on Tuesday, as Montevallo rose two spots to No. 23.

Montevallo holds an overall record of 22-6 and a 7-5 mark in Gulf South Conference play. The Falcons earned 46 points total to earn the No. 23 spot, after capturing a series victory over West Alabama.

Taylor Lloyd led the way in the circle with a pair of complete game victories against the Tigers, leading her to being named GSC Pitcher of the Week. Bentlee Stiner led the way for the Falcons at the plate on the weekend, recording four hits and three RBIs.  

Two other GSC teams were mentioned in this week's poll, including No. 6 AUM and No. 18 West Florida.

Montevallo returns to action this weekend with a three-game home series against Valdosta State.
