MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo baseball team has earned a spot in the initial NCAA South Region rankings released Wednesday. The first poll is presented in alphabetical order, while the remaining polls will be listed in ranked order.

Montevallo enters the final weekend of the regular season at 24-23 overall and 15-15 in GSC play. Since mid-March, the Falcons have won 16 of their last 22 games, highlighted by series victories over Valdosta State, Lee, Delta State, and Christian Brothers, as well as a ranked road win over then-No. 14 Young Harris.

The Falcons will host AUM this weekend, with Friday's doubleheader set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
