MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women's tennis team fell to nationally-ranked Flagler College 8-0 in a Peach Belt Conference match March 12.

The Saints entered the match ranked No. 16 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA Division II national poll and are the No. 3 team in the Southeast Region rankings.

Senior Allison Howell won the Falcons' lone set in the match as she pushed Laura Kelly of Flagler 6-4, 2-6, 10-6 in the No. 5 singles' match.

Montevallo (7-4 overall, 1-4 in Peach Belt Conference) will return to action Saturday, March 19 with a match at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. First serve is set for 2 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Central.
