DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The University of Montevallo women's tennis team fell on the road at the University of North Georgia 7-2 in a Peach Belt Conference match April 10.

The Falcons (12-9 overall, 1-9 in Peach Belt Conference) won one singles' match and one doubles' match against the Nighthawks.

Freshman Emily Beatty defeated Karina Gurgenyan of North Georgia 2-6, 6-4 with a 10-4 win in the tiebreaker in the No. 2 singles' match.

Beatty and senior Allison Howell topped the Nighthawks' Gurgenyan and Sandra Ungricht 8-6 in the No. 2 doubles' match.

The Falcons will return to action Saturday, April 16 with a home Peach Belt Conference match against USC Aiken. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
