MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo women's tennis team returns to action Wednesday afternoon, hosting No. 5 West Alabama at the UM Tennis Court Complex. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
Montevallo enters the match coming off a 4-2 victory over Southern Arkansas last Monday in Meridian. Klara Podskubkova continues to represent the Falcons in the ITA singles rankings, holding steady at No. 64 nationally.
West Alabama brings a 12-3 overall record (1-1 GSC) into the matchup and sits at No. 5 in the latest ITA national poll. The Tigers boast a strong singles lineup, led by Shaira Rivera at No. 11 and Alexa Milliam at No. 16. Nanoka Kazama (No. 46) and Jenaila Prulla (No. 74) also rank nationally, while the doubles tandem of Milliam and Rivera checks in at No. 8.
