CLINTON, Miss. - The University of Montevallo women's tennis team defeated host Mississippi College 6-3 on the road in a non-conference contest, improving to 5-0 overall on the season.
The Falcons rallied from a 2-1 deficit after doubles' play for the victory, winning five of the six singles' matches. Sophomore
Rayne Sinclair clinched the victory for Montevallo with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over the Choctaws' Katie Reid in the No. 5 singles' match.

Alina Munteanu topped Brenna Keller of Mississippi College 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles' match. Sophomore
Emily Beatty defeated AnneMarie Kimball of Mississippi College 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 in the No. 2 singles' match.

Julia Berg took down the Choctaws' Aneta Golowska 7-5, 6-2 in the No. 3 singles' match. Freshman Merel Van Zutphen defeated Christa Owen of Mississippi College 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 4 singles' match.

Allie Whitley and Beatty teamed up to win the No. 3 doubles' match against the Choctaws' Karly Matthews and Owens 9-7.
The Falcons return to action Sunday, Feb. 12 with a non-conference contest at the University of West Georgia.
