CARROLLTON, Ga. – The University of Montevallo women's tennis team set a new program with a 6-0 start to the season following a 9-0 victory on the road Feb. 12 at future Gulf South Conference opponent West Georgia.
The Falcons will host Clark Atlanta in their first home match of the season Saturday, Feb. 18 at 12 p.m.

Alina Munteanu swept the No. 1 singles' match 6-0, 6-0 and sophomore
Emily Beatty swept her opponent in the No. 2 singles' match 6-0, 6-0 as well.

Julia Berg won the No. 3 singles' match 6-1, 7-6 (7-1), while freshman Merel Van Zutphen claimed the No. 4 singles' match 6-0, 6-2.

Rayne Sinclair took the No. 5 singles' match 6-1, 6-2 and sophomore
Lauren Pero claimed the No. 6 singles' match 6-0, 6-1.

Alice Copland and Sinclair won the No. 1 doubles' match 8-2. Munteanu and Van Zutphen took the No. 2 doubles' match 8-1, while Berg and freshman
Amanda Gautreaux claimed the No. 3 singles' match 8-0.
