Box Score LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women's tennis team fell to host University of West Alabama 7-0 in a Gulf South Conference match March 13.

Sophomores Maria Garcia and Dorotea Hanzek defeated Georgina Salom and Andrea Tomassone of West Alabama 7-6 in the No. 1 doubles' match.

However, the Tigers claimed the No. 2 doubles' match and No. 3 doubles' match to earn the doubles' point.

Garcia pushed her No. 1 singles' match against the Tigers' Daryna Hukasian into a tiebreaking set in her 2-6, 7-6, 4-10 setback.

The Falcons will return to action Saturday, March 16 on the road at Shorter University in Gulf South Conference play.
