Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women's tennis team fell to Southern Arkansas University 5-2 in a non-conference match March 20 at Lagoon Park.

The Falcons dropped to 5-5 overall on the season.

Freshman Whitney Hamilton took down the Muleriders' Serena Gill 7-5, 6-1 in the No. 6 singles' match.

Sophomores Maria Garcia and Dorotea Hanzek won the No. 1 doubles' match against Joanna Nowakowska and Angela Vargas of Southern
Arkansas 7-6 and senior Emily Beatty and freshman Anne-Christine Leu claimed the No. 2 doubles' match against Aurora Novati and Simone Simas 6-1 to secure the doubles' point.

The Falcons will return to action Thursday, March 21 with another match against Arkansas Tech at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Alabama.
