Box Score PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Montevallo women's tennis team fell to nationally-ranked University of West Florida 6-1 in a Gulf South Conference match March 28.

The Falcons fell to 7-7 overall on the season and 4-2 in Gulf South Conference play following the loss to the Argonauts, who are ranked No. 8 nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA Division II rankings.

Freshman Anne-Christine Leu recorded the lone win for the Falcons with her 7-5, 6-3 win over Jennifer Rink of West Florida in the No. 3 singles' match.

Montevallo will return to action at home Tuesday, April 2 when the Falcons host UAH in a Gulf South Conference match.
