Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of Montevallo women's tennis team fell to visiting Auburn-Montgomery 6-1 in a Gulf South Conference match April 24.

Senior Emily Beatty recorded the Falcons' lone victory with her 7-6, 6-4 win over Tonja Fossmeier of Auburn-Montgomery in the No. 1 singles' match.

The Falcons dropped the doubles' point, but Beatty and freshman Anne-Christine Leu topped Fossmeier and Julia Enderink of Auburn-Montgomery 7-5 in the No. 2 doubles' match.

Montevallo will return to action Friday, April 26 in their final regular season match against Delta State in Gulf South Conference play.
