MONTEVALLO - Freshman libero Megan Schram has been earned Gulf South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors. The Newnan, Ga. native got the start in the two UM matches last week. Schram was stout on defense, piling up 36 digs, including a season-high 25 in the win over West Georgia. She also contributed on offense with 10 assists.
