LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its All-Region selections on Wednesday, with Danielle Greene earning Honorable Mention recognition.
Greene delivered an exceptional 2025 campaign, highlighted by First Team All-GSC honors. The Montgomery, Ala., native led the Gulf South Conference with 170.0 blocks, a mark that ranked second nationally and established a new Montevallo NCAA-era single-season record.
The Falcons' middle blocker with 290 kills while hitting .315, the fourth-best percentage in the GSC. She recorded double-digit kills in 14 matches and notched five or more blocks in 16 contests, including three performances with double-digit blocks. Greene additionally surpassed 500 career kills during the season while cementing her place in the Montevallo record book across multiple blocking categories.
