LEXINGTON, Ky. – Montevallo middle blocker Danielle Greene has been named an Honorable Mention All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the organization announced Wednesday.
The recognition is Greene's third major postseason honor of the year, joining her All-GSC First Team selection.
Greene turned in a standout 2025 season for the Falcons. The Montgomery, Ala., native led the Gulf South Conference with 170.0 total blocks (second-most in the nation at the end of the regular season) and set a new Montevallo NCAA-era single-season record. She also finished the year with 290 kills while hitting .315, the fourth-highest percentage in the GSC.
Throughout the campaign, Greene tallied double-digit kills in 14 matches and recorded five or more blocks in 16 contests, including three double-digit block performances. She also surpassed 500 career kills as she continued to climb Montevallo's record book across multiple blocking categories.
