GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three Montevallo volleyball student-athletes were recognized by College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District selections, as announced Tuesday. Blakeley Robbins, Ava Wind, and Maggie McColley earned the honor for their excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
Per CSC, "The 2025–26 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom."
Robbins put together a strong sophomore campaign while playing all 32 matches as the Falcons' primary setter. She ranked sixth in the Gulf South Conference with 721 assists while adding 211 digs, 26 service aces, and 19 kills. The Daphne, Ala., native reached a major career milestone on Oct. 25 against Trevecca, recording her 1,000th career assist.
Wind posted one of the top defensive seasons in the GSC, finishing with 591 digs, the third-highest total in the conference. An All-GSC Second Team selection, she recorded 12 matches with 20-plus digs, highlighted by a career-high 32 at Christian Brothers on Nov. 7. The Leander, Texas, product eclipsed 1,000 career digs in the Falcons' sweep of Union on Nov. 8 and also contributed offensively with 92 assists and 27 service aces.
McColley enjoyed a breakout senior season, appearing in all 32 matches while totaling 216 kills and 93.0 total blocks. The Lawrenceville, Ga., native added 49 digs and 12 service aces on the year and recorded a career-high 16 kills with eight blocks in Montevallo's win over Christian Brothers on Oct. 11.
