MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Montevallo women's tennis team is slated to start the post season with a match against West Alabama in the Gulf South Conference Tournament.

Montevallo enters the post season as the No.7 seed going 5-11 overall with a 3-7 conference record.  The Falcons ended the regular season with a 37-56 record in singles while going 22-25 in doubles matches.

In doubles matches the combinations of Mireia Turro with Dortea Hanzek (6-7) and Eva Dirr with Cyba Ozzor (6-4) lead the Falcons with six wins each this season.  All-GSC selection Eva Dirr has been the most consistent for UM in the singles matches with a 9-6 overall record and a 6-3 conference record.

The Falcons are set for a match against West Alabama starting Thursday, April 22 at 10:00 AM in Montgomery.
