INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second-consecutive week, the Montevallo volleyball team was ranked in the 2022 NCAA South Region Volleyball rankings on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
 
Following a Senior Day win over Lee, the Falcons were ranked tenth in the first NCAA rankings that named teams 1-10.
 
Montevallo joins West Florida (5th) and Mississippi College (8th) as the only teams from the Gulf South Conference named in this week's regional rankings.
 
The Falcons currently hold a 16-9 record against regional opponents with an overall Div. II record of 17-12. Montevallo has faced a regional ranked opponent 10 times this season across three regions.
 
UM looks to improve on its region record with two GSC matchups on the road against West Alabama and Mississippi College on Nov. 3 and 4, respectively.
