MONTEVALLO, Ala. - University of Montevallo Volleyball Head Coach Katie O'Brien announced the addition of prep standout Ellise Hanson to the Falcons' 2023 signing class, Wednesday.  

Hanson, a 6-2, MH/RS, played volleyball for Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia.  During her high school career, she was named Offensive Player of the Year and Scholar Athlete Award for 2021 and 2022.  Additionally, she was named AVCA All-Region, GVCA All Area, GHSA 7A Elite 8 and to the 7A First Team All-Region squad three times.

Ellise plays club volleyball for A5 and will be coached by Scott Cioffari.  She intends to major in Graphic Design at Montevallo.
