MONTEVALLO - The University of Montevallo volleyball team has signed Brooklyn Hudson to the Falcons' 2022 signing class, head coach Katie O'Brien announced Thursday.
 
Brooklyn Hudson (6-0, OH, Rock Spring, GA) is a standout from Gordon Lee Memorial High School and received numerous awards during her high school career.  She was recognized as Class AA/A Region 7 Player of the Year (2019, 2020, 2021), First-Team All-Region (2019, 2020, 2021), First-Team All-State (2019, 2020, 2021), Walker County Co-Player of the Year (2020, 2021), and Best of Preps Dream Team (2020, 2021).  Hudson helped Gordon Lee to its first two state championship appearances.
 
Hudson plays club volleyball for A5 Chattanooga and is coached by Madison Bergren.  She joins a Montevallo team coming off a 21-14 season, finishing as runners-up in the Gulf South Conference Tournament.
