MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference announced the postseason All-Conference awards, Tuesday, and senior Allie Dishman was named to the All-GSC First Team. Dishman also earned Offensive Player of the Week honors by the league office.
 
Allie was tied for third in the conference with a .310 hit percentage in 581 total attacks while having the seventh most kills in the GSC with 257. Dishman leads the Falcons with 38 service aces which is her most in a season in her career. She has the second highest total blocks on the team with 72 with 13 of which being solo.
 
This is the second consecutive year Dishman has been named to the All-GSC First Team and her third time being a part of the postseason All-Conference team as in 2021, she was named to the All-GSC Second Team.

Montevallo also earned their second GSC Player of the Week honors as Allie Dishman totaled 26 kills, six service aces, five digs and five total blocks in nine sets played. Against West Georgia, she totaled 15 kills, a hit percentage of .385, six aces, two digs and two blocks. The senior followed up with 11 kills, three digs and three total blocks against Valdosta State the following night.
 
Postseason play starts for the Falcons on Friday, Nov. 17 as UM travels to Pensacola, Fla. for the GSC Tournament Second Round as the No. 4 seed and will take on the winner of No.5 Valdosta State and No. 8 West Georgia.
