MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo softball's Ellie Derrick and men's lacrosse's Trevayne Hunter have been named Montevallo Players of the Week for the week of Feb.13.

Ellie Derrick (Softball)

Sophomore infielder Ellie Derrick put on a show at the plate to start the Red, White and Blue Classic in Columbus, Georgia. In two wins this weekend, Derrick went 3-7 at the plate, with a homerun and a double. She also added three runs batted in. On the defensive side, in nine chances she had four putouts and five assists, being a part of two double plays, and maintaining a 1.000 fielding percentage.

Trevayne Hunter (Men's Lacrosse)

Junior attacker Trevayne Hunter totaled six points to lift the Falcons over Mars Hill University. In their first win of the season, Hunter had three goals and three assists. He had five shots on goal, and added a ground ball in the win.
