TUSCON, Ariz. – The University of Montevallo Baseball team remains in the top 10 across NCAA Division II in the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top-30 regular season rankings, released Monday.
Montevallo was ranked No. 4 for back-to-back weeks before dropping to No. 10 this week.
At 27-7 overall on the year, Montevallo has been ranked inside the top 10 for three straight weeks and remains the highest ranked Gulf South Conference team.
On the week Montevallo sweep a doubleheader over Spring Hill in midweek action but dropped its first series of the year, 2-1, to West Florida.
Montevallo is one of three GSC schools in the poll. West Georgia (25-7) is No. 15 and Valdosta State (20-9) is No. 27.
The Falcons return to action on Tuesday, April 4, in a game against Miles at 2 p.m. in Montevallo, Alabama.
