BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Montevallo track and field teams posted four top ten finishes and nine personal records at the UAB Vulcan Invite on Friday.
Emily Wolf achieved the highest finish for the Falcons, placing seventh overall in the weight throw (15.28m).
The Men's 4x400m Relay team consisting of
Amari Lewis, Julian Fore,
Walter Womack, and
Drew Cheslock ran a 3:21.52 to finish ninth overall.
Fore also earned an individual tenth place finish in the Men's 800m (1.56.88), while
Natalie Warner ran a 10:26.39 to capture a tenth-place finish in the Women's 3000m.
Eight Montevallo men captured personal records on Friday, including
Amari Lewis (7.02) and
Corey Perkins (7.25) in the 60m Prelims;
Walter Womack (22.04) and
Amari Lewis (22.28) in the 200m;
Drew Cheslock (49.89) in the 400m;
Jackson Howse (8:57.65) and
Cameron Prosser (8:59.77) in the 3000m; and Aiden Baker (1.86m) in the High Jump.
On the women's side,
Sarah Turner saw a personal record (5.20.24) in the 1 Mile.
The Falcons are back in action on Saturday for the UAB Green and Gold Invite.
