MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo men's lacrosse finally broke into the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Top 20 Poll after spending two weeks as a receiving votes team.

Montevallo's first appearance in the USILA Top 20 features a No. 18 ranking for the Falcons while UM rose two spots in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll to No. 17 with Montevallo holding its No. 16 ranking in the Inside Lacrosse poll. This week marks the first week of the season that Montevallo is ranked inside the top 20 in all three national Div. II polls.
 
The Falcons' top 20 rankings come after week that saw Montevallo top William Jewell, 22-11. Montevallo's remaining schedule features a pair of ranked teams in Maryville and Flagler who were named in all three polls.
 
Montevallo is scheduled to take on No. 9 Maryville on March 22 at 12 p.m. in Montevallo, Ala.
