Box Score YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The women's tennis team battled to a well-earned 6-1 victory over Young Harris College on Tuesday, claiming key singles and doubles wins to take the match.

Young Harris took the early advantage in doubles play, winning two of the three matches to claim the doubles point. Montevallo's No. 2 duo of Klara Podskubkova and Claire Jaramba secured the lone win for the Falcons with a 7-5 victory.

Despite falling behind early, Montevallo responded strongly in singles action, winning all of the six matches. Podskubkova delivered a comeback win at No. 1, rallying for a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory. Elena Ondobo dominated at No. 2, winning 6-1, 6-2, while Claire Jaramba followed with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 win at No. 3.

The Falcons sealed the match with two more victories. London Breedlove cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6, and Greta Vagnini battled through a tight second set to win 6-3, 7-6 at No. 5.

With this strong performance, Montevallo continues to build momentum as they look ahead to their next competition.
