MONTEVALLO, Ala. – USA Lacrosse Magazine has announced its 2026 Division II Men's Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans with Falcon goalkeeper
Alex Egorshin named Second Team All-American.

Egorshin's second Preseason All-American honor follows a USILA Second Team All-American selection and a Peach Belt Conference Preseason All-Conference award. Egorshin was named Second Team All-American after a season that saw the senior play a total of 856:41 minutes in goal while leading the PBC with a 10.97 goals against average while also posting a PBC-high .601 save percentage. The Hoover, Ala. native set another league best with 236 saves on the season. Egorshin's 2025 campaign featured his third PBC Defensive Player of the Year honor while adding a First Team All-Conference honor.
In Montevallo's 2026 season-opener against Emmanuel, the senior allowed just one goal in 35 minutes in net while adding eight saves on a total of 11 shots faced while picking up a pair of ground balls and forcing two turnovers.
Egorshin and the Falcons head back into action on Friday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. on the road at Embry-Riddle.
