MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Athletics has named Track and Field's
Ka'Mya Jackson and Men's Lacrosse's
Lucas Mullen as the Montevallo Players of the Week presented by Jack's for the week of April 20.
Lucas Mullen (Men's Lacrosse)
Lucas Mullen played a pivotal role in Montevallo's 20-13 victory over Lander, helping secure the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Regular Season Championship for the Falcons.
Mullen led the offensive attack with six points on four goals and two assists, delivering key scoring throughout the contest. He gave Montevallo its first lead late in the opening quarter and added a crucial man-up goal in the second to extend the Falcons' advantage.
In the fourth quarter, Mullen tallied his fourth goal of the game during a critical stretch to stop Lander's momentum and help seal the victory.
Along with his offensive production, Mullen contributed defensively with two caused turnovers and two ground balls, showcasing his all-around impact in one of Montevallo's biggest wins of the season.
Ka'Mya Jackson (Track and Field)
Ka'Mya Jackson delivered a record-breaking performance at the UAH Rocket City Invitational, turning in one of the most impressive meets of the season for the Falcons.
Jackson recorded three school records across the weekend while earning multiple podium finishes. She opened competition by setting a new program record in the 100m with a time of 11.92, advancing to the finals.
On Saturday, Jackson continued her dominant showing with a first-place finish in the 200m, clocking a school record time of 24.40. She followed that with another podium performance in the 400m, placing third with a record-setting time of 56.84.
Across all three sprint events, Jackson showcased elite speed and consistency, cementing herself as one of Montevallo's top performers heading into the postseason.
