Nine Falcons Earn All-Conference Honors, Trio Earn Superlative Awards

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Peach Belt Conference has announced its 2026 All-Conference teams with nine Falcons earning All-PBC honors while Matthew Boas, Alex Egorshin and Head Coach Jason Lange earned superlative honors.

Lange was named PBC Coach of the Year after leading the Falcons to an 8-7 overall record and a 4-0 mark in conference action for the PBC regular season title. Montevallo's 2026 season featured a pair of ranked wins over No. 20 North Greenville and No. 18 Flagler. The 2026 season featured Montevallo's third PBC regular season title and put Lange at the top of the PBC all-time wins list with 51 wins as a member of the PBC.
 
Matthew Boas earned his second-consecutive Attackman of the Year award while also being named First Team All-PBC after leading the conference with a total of 47 goals on the season while adding the No. 3 mark in the league with 23 assists for a league-high 70 points on the season. Boas set a PBC best with 13 points on seven goals and six assists in Montevallo's win over Emmanuel to open the season. The Nanaimo, B.C., Canada native holds the top five single-game goal marks by any PBC athlete this season.
 
Alex Egorshin was named Goalkeeper of the Year for the third consecutive season while earning his third-consecutive First Team All-PBC award. The Hoover, Ala. native leads the Peach Belt with a total of 243 saves for a second-best mark of 16.20 saves per game while also leading the league with a .609 save percentage. On the season, Egorshin has posted a goals against average of just 11.57 to rank four the in the conference. The senior goalkeeper holds all 10 of the top single-game save marks in the Peach Belt with a league-best 25 saves against No. 4 Tampa on March 14.
 
Alongside Boas and Egorshin, Lucas Mullen, John Morris and Brandon Shaffner earned First Team All-Conference honors while Michael Howkins, Aidan Collery, Colin Schuster, and Ryan Andrews were named Second Team All-PBC.
 
Mullen's first season as a Falcon saw the transfer post the second-best mark in the league with 36 goals on the season while adding another No. 2 mark of 24 assists for a total of 60 points on the season to rank third among conference leaders. Mullen's eight points against Emmanuel to open the season ranks second in the PBC for most points in a single game while his five assists against Mars Hill also ranks second in the conference.
 
Morris' first career All-Conference selection saw the junior named First Team Long Stick Midfielder after posting a total of eight points on a pair of goals and six assists. The Livonia, Mich. native ranked second on the squad with 45 ground balls and third on the team with 14 caused turnovers. Morris posted a career-high six ground balls in Montevallo's win over UAH on April 4 while setting a season-high mark of three caused turnovers twice during the 2026 campaign.
 
Shaffner's second-career all-conference selection saw featured a First Team Faceoff Specialist honor after leading the conference with a .640 faceoff win percentage while also leading the league with 78 ground balls. The Louisville, Ky. native owns seven of the top 10 single game marks for ground balls and has posted a season-high 10 ground balls twice during 2026. Shaffner's 14 faceoff wins against Saint Leo on Feb. 8 mark the senior's highest single-game mark of the season.
 
Howkins was named Second Team All-PBC for the second-consecutive season after posting a total of 29 goals on the season for the fourth-highest mark in the league to go alaong with 10 assists for a total of 39 points in his sophomore campaign to rank fifth among conference leaders. The sophomore attackman posted a season-high five points on two goals and three assists in Montevallo win over Mars Hill on Feb. 18 while adding a pair of games with four goals for the fourth-best mark in the conference.
 
Collery earned his first-career all-conference honor after posting a total of 19 points on the season with 11 goals and eight assists while adding 19 ground balls and a caused turnover. The sophomore attacker posted a season-high five points on two goals and another season-best three assists in Montevallo's win over Lander on April 18. Collery's season saw a trip of outings that featured a pair of goals from the Nanaimo, B.C., Canada native.
 
Schuster garnered a Second Team All-PBC honor for the first time in his career after leading the Peach Belt with a total of 29 caused turnovers on the season for a league-best 2.07 per game mark while adding a total of 31 caused turnovers on the season to go along with three points on three assists. The senior defender set a season-high with five caused turnovers in Montevallo's win over UAH on April 4 while the Smyrna, Ga. adding a season-best four ground balls twice.
 
Andrews tallied his first all-conference selection with a total of five points on the season with two goals and three assists while adding 16 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. The senior midfielder set a season-high with four ground balls in Montevallo's win over Virginia State on March 28 while adding a season-best three caused turnovers against Young Harris on March 7.
