A LOOK BACK - April 4 thru April 10
The Falcons took 2-of-3 in a Gulf South Conference series at West Alabama, narrowly missing a sweep. The Falcons won the first two games 14-4 and 8-3, but lost the final game 11-10 in extra innings. With the two wins, UM improved to 22-14 overall and 12-7 in the Gulf South Conference.

BASEBALL
The Falcons lost two of three games on the road at West Alabama over the weekend. After losing the first two games 6-2 and 11-7, the 26th-ranked Falcons won the final game of the serie 5-1 to improve to 27-10 and 12-8 in the Gulf South Conference.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
The Montevallo women's tennis team extended their winning streak to six matches with wins over Valdosta State (5-2) and Mississippi College (4-3). The Falcons improved their record to 9-6 and 6-2 in the Gulf South Conference.

MEN'S TENNIS
The Montevallo men's tennis team split their two matches this week, falling to No. 6 Valdosta State, but rebounding to knock off Mississippi College 6-1. The Falcons improved to 7-9 and 4-3 in the Gulf South Conference.

WOMEN'S GOLF
Paula Bermejo and Caterina Oliveri finished in the top 20 of a challenging event at the UWF Argonaut Invitational earlier this week. Bermejo finished tied for 6th place after shooting 14-over-par (75-76-79-230) on a rain soaked course at Tiger Point Golf Club. Oliveri wedged her way into the top 20, tying for 19th at 26-over-par (77-82-83-242).

MEN'S GOLF
A soggy day on the links resulted in a tough day for the Falcons men's golf team at the UWF Argonaut Invitational. The tough weather conditions resulted in higher than usual scores across the board. The Falcons found themselves looking up at the field, finishing at the bottom of the 17-team field. As a team, the Falcons shot 45-over-par (909)

MEN'S LACROSSE
The Montevallo men's lacrosse team suffered a tough 14-13 loss to Alabama Huntsville on Saturday afternoon at the UM Lacrosse Complex. The Falcons fell to 5-7 and 0-2 in the Gulf South Conference.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The Montevallo women's lacrosse battled but fell short 18-11 against Young Harris, Saturday evening on the road. With the loss the Falcons are now 3-10 overall this season, and 0-4 Gulf South Conference record.
