SOFTBALL
The Falcons had an outstanding week, sweeping all five of their games, four of which were come-from-behind walk-offs. On Wednesday, the Falcons took two from Georgia Southwestern 6-5 and 7-6. Then, the Falcons swept a three-game series against Christian Brothers over the weekend. In the opener, the  Falcons came from six runs down to beat the Buccaneers 14-13. Then on Sunday, Mabry Norris tossed a no-hitter in a 8-0 UM win. That was followed by another dramatic comeback in which Sierra Easterwood hit for the cycle in a 7-6 win. After the 5-0 week, the Falcons improved to 12-10 and 4-3 in the Gulf South Conference.

BASEBALL
The Falcons took two out of three games in their Gulf South Conference series against Christian Brothers over the weekend. The Falcons won the first game 12-7, but dropped game two 6-1. In the rubber game, Sam Kuchinski hit a walk-off homer to give UM a 4-3 win. The Falcons improved to 16-5 and 3-5 in the GSC with the two wins.

TRACK AND FIELD
Falcons runner Joe Leventry competed at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships last weekend. He finished 13th in the 3000 meter run.

MEN'S LACROSSE
The Montevallo men's lacrosse team beat North Greenville 17-14 behind four goals and an assist from Thomas Vaesen. With the win the Falcons improved to 4-3 on the season.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The Montevallo women's lacrosse team split a pair of games during the week, defeating Lewis University 12-8, but losing to Lenoir Rhyne 8-5. .

Tennis - Tanner Stancil

MEN'S  TENNIS
The Montevallo men's tennis team went 0-for-3 in their road trip to Arkansas. Two of the losses came to nationally ranked teams. The Falcons fell 7-0 to #11 Southern Arkansas, then dropped a 4-2 decision to Midwestern State. The Falcons wrapped up the weekend against #8 Ouachita Baptist and were swept 7-0. The Falcons (3-4) have now lost four straight.

Womens Tennis Action

WOMEN'S TENNIS
The Montevallo women's tennis team finished a tough road trip with a 6-1 win over Ouachita Baptist on Sunday. The win snapped a four-match losing streak for the Falcons who improved to 3-4. In the previous matches during the weekend, the Falcons played hard but came up short 4-3 to Southern Arkansas and 4-2 against Midwestern State.

MEN'S GOLF
The Montevallo men's golf team finished fifth at the CBU Buccaneer Classic. The Falcons shot a team score of 30-over-par (894) for the tournament, finishing in the middle of the pack of nine teams. Delta State led wire-to-wire, finishing first at 10-over-par, followed by Mississippi College (+14), Christian Brothers (+17) and Shorter (+20).
