A LOOK BACK AT Feb 7 thru FEB 13
The Falcons continued to surge, winning two crucial Gulf South Conference games on the home floor, extending their winning streak to four games. On Thursday, UM beat West Florida 81-75 in front of the largest crowd of the season. Then, the Falcons celebrated Senior Day with a hard-earned 79-73 win over Valdosta State. The wins kept the Falcons (12-13 and 10-7 in the GSC) in the thick of the GSC Tournament chase as well as keeping the hopes of hosting a first round game in the plans.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
It was a tough week for the Falcons as they lost a tough one against West Florida 76-74 and were the victims of a lopsided 74-42 setback to Valdosta State in the final regular season home game. Despite the damaging losses, UM still occupies the final seat in the GSC Tournament race at 7-9 and 11-13 overall.

BASEBALL
The Falcons continued to roll into the 2022 campaign, sweeping four games against Missouri St. Louis in decisive fashion. In the opening game of the series, UM crushed the visiting Tritons 11-0, then followed up on Saturday with a 5-2 and 7-1 doubleheader sweep. The Falcons finished the weekend with a resounding 21-0 blowout to improve to 7-0.

SOFTBALL
The Falcon softball team won 3-of-4 games at the CSU Cougar Classic. On the first day, the Falcons rolled past Converse University 11-3, but fell to host Columbus State 5-2. However, they were able to rebound for a pair of one-run wins on Saturday, beating Converse for a second time 3-2, then coming from behind to defeat Coker University 8-7 to improve to 5-3 on the season.

MEN'S LACROSSE
The Falcons rolled to a 21-8 win over Lincoln Memorial in their home opener. With the win, the Falcons improved to 2-0 on the season. Scott Friant and Trevayne Hunter each scored four goals in the win for UM.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The Falcons split a pair of games during the week on the road, edging Coker on Friday 11-9, but falling to #13 Limestone 14-8 on Sunday to slip to 1-2 on the season.

Men's Tennis
The opened the season with a pair of wins against Tuskegee University. The two teams played two matches at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, with the Falcons getting the clean sweep.

Women's Golf
The Falcons headed south to open the spring season, competing at the Flagler World Golf Invitational. Freshman golfer Caterina Oliveri finished tied for 15th individually, shooting a 6-over-par 150 (73-77) during the two day event. Overall, the Falcons tied for 11th.
