Adrianne Peters was a mainstay in goal for the women's soccer team at Montevallo from 1999-2002. She was a three-time First Team All-GSC selection as well as twice being named to the GSC All-Tournament team. She was named three times to the GSC All-Academic Team and became the first women's soccer player in school history to be named a CoSIDA Academic All-American. She liked it so much that she repeated the feat one year later to become the only two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American in school history. She is the career record holder of saves (397) and shutouts (22) at the University and is second in wins (35). She cracks the top-five in 15 other spots in the record books as well. Following graduation she headed out west to work at the YMCA of the Rockies just outside of Winter Park, Colorado. She is currently back in her hometown, Huntsville, Ala., working on her second bachelor's degree in civil engineering at the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
