Glenn Murphy was named a first team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II All-South Region selection and a first team All-Gulf South Conference selection following his senior season during his playing career, which spanned from 2004-07. The Chelmsford, England native was also named a three-time second team All-Gulf South Conference selection and a Daktronics NCAA Division II All-South Region selection following his junior season. Murphy was also named a two-time ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District selection and a two-time Gulf South Conference All-Academic team selection. Murphy owns the program record with 57 assists during his playing career, including a program-best 20 assists during his junior season. Murphy is also second in the record book with 107 career points. Murphy was a member of the school’s first team to advance to the NCAA Division II Final Four during his senior season in 2007.
