Terry Brasseale was a four-year letterman for the University of Montevallo baseball team from 1973-76. As a senior in 1976, Brasseale played for Hall of Fame Coach Bob Riesener and was part of the first conference championship team. Upon graduating, Brasseale began impacting the community through coaching and education. He started teaching and coaching at Corner High School in 1976, where he was the head baseball coach, head basketball coach, and defensive coordinator for football. In 1980, Brasseale became the head baseball coach and varsity football assistant coach at McAdory High School, where he coached the legendary Bo Jackson on the diamond. After 19 years in the Jefferson County School System, Brasseale retired and began a 25-year business career. During that span, he opened eight Iron Worx fitness centers, Sports Worx—a sports training facility—and other businesses such as Salon Worx and Filter Worx. Throughout his life, Brasseale has been extremely generous in his philanthropic efforts financially and through his time. In September 2001, he volunteered with a church in New York City to help feed firefighters and rescue workers at the site of the fallen Twin Towers. In 2012, Brasseale organized a fundraiser for local Army veteran and amputee Noah Galloway and another veteran amputee to help purchase a specially equipped vehicle for use. In 2000, Brasseale and Billy Vann helped rebuild parts of the Montevallo baseball field. In 2019, Brasseale made a major contribution that was vital in the construction of the new entrance to the Montevallo baseball field in honor of legendary coach Bob Riesener. Brasseale's philanthropic efforts did not end there, as he made financial contributions to Prince of Peace Catholic Church and McAdory Baptist Church for facility updates. Lastly, Brasseale raised money to build a 40-foot ramp at McAdory High School to accommodate High School Wrestling Coach Blake Dutton, who lost both of his legs due to cancer.
