2004 University of Montevallo Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Jason Douglass was one of the finest pitchers to don a Falcon uniform. A two-year letterwinner for the Falcons in 1993 and 1994, he was named a First Team NAIA All-American in 1994 He set a record still held to this day for innings pitched in a single season with 138 2/3 innings in 1994. He set a record for most victories in a single season with 18, and set a school record (since tied) for most games started in a single season with 15 in 1994. He remains in the top six in single-season strikeouts. He went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Physical Education in 1996. Sadly, he tragically lost his life in an accident in 2002. He is inducted posthumously into the University of Montevallo Athletic Hall of Fame.
