Gail Holt, a four-year member of the University of Montevallo women's basketball program from 1992-96, was a two-time NAIA National Tournament Most Valuable Player candidate and a NAIA All-District 27 selection following her sophomore season.
Holt finished her playing career with the most steals in a career with 277 steals and the fourth most points scored in a career with 1,494 career points.
Holt also finished second in the program's record books for most 3-point field goals made in a career with 239 made 3-point field goals. Holt finished with the second most games played in a career and finished seventh in the record books for best 3-point field goal shooting percentage with her 35.7 career shooting percentage from beyond the arc.
Holt helped the Falcons claim their first Gulf South Conference East Division title during her senior season in 1995-96.
Holt received her bachelor degree in physical education in 1996.
