University of Montevallo Athletics

Tim Eberhart established himself as one of the greatest pitchers in University of Montevallo baseball history during his four-year career with the Falcons from 1981-84. A dominant force on the mound, Eberhart remains the program's all-time career leader in strikeouts with 247 and holds the school record with six career shutouts.

Eberhart helped lead the Falcons to district championships in 1981 and 1984, while also playing a key role in Montevallo's Southern States Conference Championship during his senior season. Over his career, he made 69 appearances, including 38 starts, and logged 236.0 innings. He compiled a 24-8 record with a 3.56 earned run average.

His senior campaign in 1984 ranks among the finest by a pitcher in program history. Eberhart posted an 11-1 record, which remains tied for the most wins in a single season at Montevallo. He opened the year with a 7-0 record and did not allow an earned run during that stretch, finishing the season as a First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District selection.
