2004 University of Montevallo Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Don Hancock was a highly decorated men's golf student-athlete at UM. A three-year letterwinner, Don was twice named NAIA All-District 27 in 1984 and 1985, and was named All-Southern States Conference in 1985. He earned All-Tournament honors in twelve tournaments, and was the medalist in the Nashboro Village Intercollegiate in 1983. Throughout his career, he posted the best individual score for the Falcon team on six golf courses including the Stillwaters Golf Club in Dadeville in 1985 and Terri Pines Country Club in Cullman. He finished his career in the top three all-time in lowest Individual Season Stroke Average and Career Stroke Average. A 1985 graduate from UM in Physical Education, Don currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina.
