Hall of Fame
Denise Heisler was a member of the volleyball program at the University of Montevallo from 1985-1988. She garnered several All-American honors during her playing career. She was named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-American following her senior season, while also being named an All-American by both ASICS and Russell Athletic. She was also named the NAIA District 27 Player of the Year during her playing career. She finished her playing career ranked third in program history with 267 total blocks during her senior season. She also recorded the fifth highest hitting percentage in a single season in program history with her .375 hitting percentage during her senior season.
