Jonathan Maloney was a member of the men’s soccer program at the University of Montevallo from 2005-2008. He was twice named a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II All-American during his playing career. Jonathan was named first team All-Gulf South Conference and the East Division Player of the Year three times during his career and was also named the conference’s Player of the Decade. Jonathan, who was named the NCAA Division II South Region Player of the Year twice, helped the Falcons advance to their first ever NCAA Division II Final Four during his junior season and helped the team win a Gulf South Conference championship as a senior. He finished his playing career as the Falcons’ all-time leader with 167 points and 70 goals scored. He also finished his career with the most goals scored in a single season with 22 goals during both his junior and senior seasons. He also holds the program record for most points in a single season with 54 points during his junior season.
