Hall of Fame
Josh Johnson was a member of the baseball program at the University of Montevallo from 1999-2000. He was named an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division II All-American during his playing career. He was named a first team All-Gulf South Conference and a NCAA Division II All-South Region selection in each of his two seasons with the Falcons and was also named the NCAA Division II South Region Pitcher of the Year following his senior year. He finished his playing career with the second most strikeouts in a single season in program history with 113 strikeouts during his senior season. He also recorded the third most wins in a single season with 11 wins in his senior season and registered the third most shutouts in a career with six career shutouts.
