Cinda Walchli was named a first team National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American during her playing career, which spanned 1985-86. Walchli was also named the NAIA District 27 Player of the Year during her career. Walchli finished with 260 kills during her senior season and was second on the team with 367 digs. Walchli also finished with 39 service aces as a senior. Walchli led the Falcons to a 38-5 finish and a trip to the NAIA National Tournament during her senior season. In two seasons with the Falcons, Walchli recorded 475 kills, 86 service aces and 84 total blocks. She also served as an assistant coach for the Falcons after her playing career.
